12mm MDF is a high-quality composite panel manufactured from refined wood fibres bonded with synthetic resin under extreme heat and pressure. This process creates a board with consistent density throughout, offering the benefits of wood without natural flaws such as knots or grain variation. The board is suitable for simple machine and surface treatments and performs exceptionally well when routing, shaping and edge profiling. It machines cleanly using both hand tools and all standard woodworking machinery, producing smooth edges without splintering or chipping.
