Description Disc grinders are used by knifemakers to ensure surfaces are perfectly smooth and flat. These discs can be fitted to varia-ble speed motors and used with appropriate workrests. They are 8 7/8” in diameter, ensuring a standard sheet of sand-paper, or wet and dry paper can be stuck to them. Bevelled discs are used for blade grinding and finishing.
