Description This 1075 2.8mm Leatherwork Head Knife Blade Blank is made from tough and versatile 1075 high carbon steel. It can take a high hardness and is easy to heat treat with simple equipment. An excellent starting point to create a Leatherwork Head knife. It has been cut to shape by waterjet to ensure it has no heat affected zone, is supplied Annealed (Soft) and can be treated the same as 1084 high carbon steel. You will need to tidy up the profile, grind the bevels, drill pin holes, heat treat and fit a handle. All part of the fun! Note: Blank may come with a slight warpage.
